The global Black Lives Matter Movement was nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. The World Is Watching understands that most work for racial justice goes unrecognized in formal spaces. What We Do

We advocate for policy changes and concrete action at the local, state, federal, and international level. We facilitate a network of Black Lives Matter activists from around the world and provide guidance on organizing and advocacy. We produce educational publications and series that amplify the voices of Black organizers, youth, and allies.

We are creating a unified international front calling for change. We draw inspiration from the critical role that international pressure had in advancing the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.
